Hey, I’ve been away for a bit and also busy mixing in the studio but I wanted to let you know about a plugin I’ve been using. It’s called Ampeg SVX and it’s a bass amp plugin collection by IK Multimedia.
One of the amps and cabinets that I have been using and, in my opinion, they have very successfully modelled is the B15R portaflex, which I have used on recordings a number of times.
To my ears it sounds pretty damn good!! It certainly gives me the sound I remember hearing from that amp. It’s also available at 50% off at the moment as are all of IK Multimedia’s amp collections.
